Could you forgive someone, even under the most difficult circumstances?
Ashley says she’s desperate to reconcile with her sister, Aliciea, who
has refused to speak to her and their dying mother, Terri, for the last
three years. Ashley and Terri say the bad blood began when they refused
to believe that Ashley’s husband, Josh, molested Aliciea’s then
6-year-old daughter, Destiny. Aliciea says she’s angry that her family
“threw her daughter away like trash” when they backed Josh, who was
eventually convicted of the crime. Having vowed never to speak to them
again, Aliciea reluctantly faces her mother and sister on Dr. Phil’s
stage. Can Aliciea let go of her anger and let the healing process
begin?
